Cozy and newly built apartment located in the owner's property with its own entrance from the outside. Here you live only a short walk into the cozy center of Gamleby, which has several good restaurants, if you want to have a bite to eat and something good to drink. The apartment consists of a hall, a fully tiled bathroom and a combined bedroom with a kitchenette. Here you have access to free Wi-Fi and a rowing boat if you want to take a short trip in the bay. There is an outdoor group at the entrance with a grill if you want to relax and look out over the bay below the house. A small road runs between. You drive to the coastal city of Västervik, which has been named Sweden's best summer city in 2020 and 2021, in 30 minutes. Here you can go to Astrid Lindgren's World, which is a fairytale place for both young and old. It is Sweden's largest outdoor theater with many stages where they play specially written scenes about Pippi, Emil and Astrid Lindgren's other characters every day. Or you can visit Astrid Lindgren's Näs. Astrid Lindgren was born and raised here. This is the place where she has been inspired for many of her stories and books. You can also visit the MX World Collection, which is one of Europe's largest museums for those who like motorcycles in general and motocross in particular. With a collection of over 350 different bikes, it's a world-unique collection you can view on site. Just outside Vimmerby, you can go to Bullerbyn - which comes alive during the summer, there are a few different animals, you can jump in the hay and in one of the barns there is Café Sörgården where they serve waffles, cheesecake, sandwiches, ice cream etc. You can also visit Katthult, where the Emil films were shot. If you want to experience moose up close and also pet them, you can take a ride out into an moose enclosure with a tractor in the Virum moose park.
